🇬🇧 Japanese-German artist Maori Kunigo is born in Gelsenkirchen, grown up in Gladbeck and living in Hamburg, Germany. His unique colorful work is inspired by traditional Japanese paintings, Japanese woodblock prints, Japanese calligraphy, typography, street art and contemporary art.
He debuted in 2018 with his first solo exhibition «Ruhrpott Ninjas» at Nissis Art Gallery in Hamburg, Germany. In 2022, K-pop entertainment company 143 entertainment, home of groups and artists like iKON and Limelight, ordered the two exclusive commissioned works «MASHIRO» and «YESEO» for their new headquarter in Seoul, Rep. of Korea.
